Agency Requirements

To be approved as an agent for Wellington Risk Insurance Agency, Inc., all of the following are required:

  1. Agency Principal must possess a valid general lines P&C license from the Texas Department of Insurance.
  2. Agency must possess an Internal Revenue Service Form W-9 with a valid Social Security Number (if agency is individually licensed), or Federal Identification Number (if agency is incorporated).
  3. Agency must have Errors & Omissions insurance with a $1 million minimum per occurrence limit.

Wellington reserves the right to accept or deny an application in its sole discretion. Upon receipt and acceptance of the required information, a Producer Agreement must be executed. Thereafter, a User ID and Password will be issued for access to the Agent Portal.
